Tombstone found in the cellar of the home at 32 Main Street. The tombstone was found in two pieces. It appears as if this is a practice piece of marble. There are random various styles of lettering on this piece of the stone. Stone was found on property across the road from the Main Street Cemetery.

There is a carving of an urn and mourning tree and random lettering of different styles throughout. This stone was found on a property across the street from the Main Street Cemetery.

Tombstone - Milton Ellis' Original Headstone
Arched white marble tombstone with carved roses and leaves on top. Engraved on the front of the stone - LITTLE MILTIE, Engraved on the back of the stone - Son of D.W. & M.P. ELLIS, Died June 9, 1863: AE. 3 yrs. 2 m's. This stone and the body of Milton was most likely removed from the Wales, MA cemetery after Dwight and his wife Mary moved to Monson. Milton is now buried at Hillside Cemetery in the family plot.
