Arched white marble tombstone with carved roses and leaves on top. Engraved on the front of the stone - LITTLE MILTIE, Engraved on the back of the stone - Son of D.W. & M.P. ELLIS, Died June 9, 1863: AE. 3 yrs. 2 m's. This stone and the body of Milton was most likely removed from the Wales, MA cemetery after Dwight and his wife Mary moved to Monson. Milton is now buried at Hillside Cemetery in the family plot. |
