Pair of brass and steel door handles with thumb latches that were originally on doors at the Monson Train Station on Washington Street, Monson, MA. Handles were removed by Harold A. Wait, he was Electrical System/Signal Maintainer on Central Vermont Railway. Note from James H. Wait - H. A. Wait maintained Telegraph and Telephone equipment at Monson Station from 1920's through 1960's. Mr. James H. Wait served as relief station agent during the mid 1950's, when the regular Monson agent, Frank Keegan was on vacation. |
