Monson's Hampden Division Sons of Temperance #201 Minutes Book from May 1, 1861 through November 14, 1862. Included in the book is the Constitution of the Sons of Temperance Subordinate Divisions. Article I establishes the Monson Division as the Hampden Division, No. 201. List of Members and Visitors with notations of members who withdrew, went to War or were expelled. It appears that the Division number changed to 91 in July of 1861. By August of 1862 there was talk of disbanding due to lack of interest and many of the members leaving to serve in the Civil War. It was voted at the October 17, 1862 meeting to disband. The October 31, 1862 meeting decided that the items of the Division would be auctioned off. November 14, 1862 was the last meeting giving an account of the auction.
