D. W. Ellis Accounting Books Dwight Warren Ellis began his sole ownership of a woolen mill in Monson when he purchased the mill property and tenements on Bliss Street in 1871 from Joseph Reynolds. The factory on this property burned to the ground in 1870. Dwight Ellis immediately erected a factory and began manufacturing fancy cassimeres. |
