    First minutes book of the Woman's Missionary Society of Monson started in November 1874 through 1890. The Society was formed as an auxiliary to the Springfield Branch of the Woman's Board of Missions. The object of the Society was the collection of money for missionary purposes, and the cultivation of a missionary spirit among its members. Stories of Rev. Brown and other missionaries are recorded throughout the book.
